I have been involved in the development of a critical reflection about the use of ethnographic methods in organizational and management research. In a field where short-term, rapid ethnographic visits leading to the collection of superficial data are common, the ambition is to foster a more rigorous practice of ethnography based on the precepts of the anthropological fieldwork.
